Remember dancing in your living room to the Top 40, sock-hops, and your prom? We would like to invite you to come relive these fun times at the Heart Gala 2008. Come enjoy dancing, casino, live and silent auction, and enough food and drinks to your hearts content.
Dust off those leisure suits, poodle skirts, bell bottoms, and leg warmers, and come dressed in the decade where your heart lives as we celebrate Dancin' Through the Decades Heart Gala 2008 on May 3rd at Eagle's Bluff Country Club.
We are challenging you to help the American Heart Association achieve its goal of reducing cardiovascular disease and stroke by 25 percent by the year 2010. Nearly 1,000,000 Americans die from cardiovascular disease. Finding ways to treat and cure these diseases depend on medical research. Prevention begins through the education of the public about risk factors and warning signs. As the baby boomers age, the number of Americans suffering from these devastating diseases will increase substantially. You probably know someone suffering from heart disease, stroke or other cardiovascular disease. Most of us do. To help these people, and protect our loved ones, we all need to get involved. You can help by planning to attend Dancin' Through the Decades Heart Gala 2008.
Thank you for your support!

On behalf of the Board I want to thank our many donors and sponsors who have so graciously given of their time, talent and resources to the 2008 Heart Gala. "Heart Wellness" can never be promoted too much and through functions such as these the American Heart Association will be able to reach more people with their compelling message. Research projects will also benefit, as well as programs, policies and procedures.
